Blog Posting - Music Marketing #1

     For my group's and my music research project, we had to research four different artists who all fall under the rock genre. Two of each of the artists had to be represented by the same label. For the first label my group and I chose Interscope Records which is one of the biggest labels in the world. For the two rock artists that are signed or were signed to this label, we chose Maroon 5 and Tame Impala. The second label that we chose was Warner Records, and for the two artists, we chose Arctic Monkeys and Coldplay. I did my personal research on Coldplay, first by just reading up on general online information about Coldplay and then diving into each individual category that was given to us to fill. In addition to this, I used a lot of background knowledge on Coldplay because I personally used to be an avid listener.
